West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, 2019 (WBJEE) is a state-level common test will be conducted by the official of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE). Students can secure the Engineering, Architecture & Pharmacy courses offered by various West Bengal Colleges and Universities.

The admission test is commonly called as West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE). Candidates will have to appear in the two papers (Paper-1, Mathematics and Paper-2, Physics & Chemistry) for the admission in Engineering and Pharmacy courses while candidates appearing only in Paper-2 will get admission in Pharmacy course being offered at Universities, Govt. Colleges and Private College of West Bengal.

For applying the West Bengal JEE Application Form is available online on the WEBJEE official website wbjeeb.nic.in and wbjeeb.in.

WBJEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

WBJEE Board has set few eligibility parameters for appeared the WBJEE 2019. Eligibility criteria different from course to course. Candidates taking part in both Papers and getting ranked will be eligible for admission in B.Tech / Pharmacy / Architecture course. In order to take part in that exam aspirants to fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed for WBJEE 2019.

For B.Tech (WBJEE 2019) :

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • His / Her age should not be less than 17 Years on December 31, 2019, there is no upper age limit for WBJEE 2019 but for Marine Engineering Course upper age limit will be 25 Years on December 31, 2019.
  • Candidate should have passed in 12th class as a regular student for a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Computer Application as a compulsory subject.
  • The aggregate marks in there three subjects taken together should not be less than 45% (For SC/ST/OBC/PwD 40%).

For B.Arch (WBJEE 2019) :

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • His / Her age should not be less than 17 Years on December 31, 2019, there is no upper age limit for WBJEE 2019.
  • Candidate should have passed in 12th class as a regular student for a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Computer Application as a compulsory subject.
  • The aggregate marks in there three subjects taken together should not be less than 50%
  • Candidate should have cleared either National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (COA) or Paper-2 of WBJEE 2019.

For B.Pharma (WBJEE 2019) :

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • His / Her age should not be less than 17 Years on December 31, 2019, there is no upper age limit for WBJEE 2019.
  • Candidate should have passed in 12th class as a regular student for a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Computer Application as a compulsory subject.
  • The aggregate marks in there three subjects taken together should not be less than 45% (For SC/ST/OBC/PwD 40%).
  • Candidate should have passed English subject of 12th class at least 30% of marks.

WBJEE Application Form

Application Form of West Bengal JEE 2019 was available from December 26, 2018. Candidates had to submit the application form on or before January 23, 2019. The application correction window is open from January 24 to 25, 2019. However, if the date extends it will be notified here. Check the steps given below to complete the application submission process.

Step – 1:-
Registration:- The first step was to register online. Candidates had to be very careful while filling the information while registering because the information entered at this stage i.e. Candidate Name, Father / Mother Name, DOB & etc. will not be available for editing later.

Step – 2:-
Application Form Filling:- The candidates had to enter the details to the related Eligibility, Course, City, Communication, etc.

Step – 3:-
Scanned Document (Photograph & Signature):- After entering the required details the candidates had to upload the required documents in the prescribed format.

Step – 4:-
Application Fee Payment:- In the complete online application submission process candidate had to pay the application fee through using online (Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking) or offline fee payment mode is also available.

Step – 5:-
Application Submit Confirmation:- Once the form is submitted candidates were advised to take a print out of the application confirmation page and keep it safe for the future reference.
